Milan Fashion Week 2026 – Business Aviation Planning Guide

Milan is one of the “Big Four” global fashion capitals, and it actually runs four times a year to accommodate both genders and the two major seasons.

While both are major events, the Women’s weeks are the heavy hitters – they draw the most celebrities, the biggest crowds, and the most global media attention.

The Milan Fashion Week Breakdown (2026)

Fashion is always “ahead” of itself. You’ll see the Fall/Winter collections in the beginning of the year so they can be manufactured and hit stores by the time the weather actually gets cold.

Collection Season Shown Typical Months 2026 Dates
Men’s Fall/Winter January Jan 16 – Jan 20
Women’s Fall/Winter Feb / March Feb 24 – March 2
Men’s Spring/Summer June June 19 – June 23
Women’s Spring/Summer Sept / Oct Sept 22 – Sept 28

If you are operating to Milan for this event or during this period, we recommend that trip planning arrangements begin as soon as possible. Our Universal Aviation Italy office is ready to help and assist.

The following is an overview of what you need to know:

Best Milan Fashion Week airport options

Linate Airport

Because Linate (LIML) is much closer to downtown Milan where the Fashion Week events will be held, it is often the preferred option for business aircraft operators attending the event.

Malpensa (LIMC) is also business-aviation-friendly and can accommodate larger wide-body aircraft.

During Milan Fashion Week, general aviation (GA) parking is not expected to be an issue at either airport.

You can read more about operating to Milan in our business aviation destination guide.

Hotels, catering, and local transport

For local transport, during Milan Fashion Week, we recommend prepaid transport (car with driver), Universal Aviation Italy can assist in making reservations in advance as public taxis will have long waits.

Preferred hotels in central Milan may be sold out during Milan Fashion Week. However, both 4- and 5-star international chain hotel options are available close to LIML and LIMC, in some cases just by the Main and GA terminal.

Caterers are available at both airports, and your ground handler can provide menus on request.

For information on catering options, you can contact Air Culinaire Worldwide.

Conclusion

While we do not expect operators to encounter overnight parking issues at either LIML or LIMC during the upcoming Milan Fashion Week, but it’s always best to confirm parking and required services as early as possible. Also, hotels will be in high demand, so it’s recommended that this is obtained in advance.

Universal Aviation Italy has two locations in Milan at Linate and Malpensa and can assist with all of your needs on the ground.
