Universal Aviation Is Now Affinity Aviation
New global brand marks the next chapter for the Evans family-owned FBO and ground support business in 20+ countries around the world, with a continued focus on safety, higher service standards and enhanced business aviation infrastructure worldwide

Introduced as the global business aviation industry gathers in Las Vegas for NBAA-BACE 2026, Affinity Aviation carries forward the people, relationships, and operating knowledge behind Universal Aviation under a new identity built for the future of the company’s FBO and ground support business globally.
The company is using this next chapter to raise the bar for the ground experience across its global network while building on the safety culture and operational discipline that have long been central to the business. Its focus includes more personalized customer care, continued advancement of safety and service standards, stronger global coordination, and expansion and improvement of general aviation infrastructure in markets around the world.
The Evans family will continue to own and lead the company.
“Affinity represents where we are taking this business next,” said Greg Evans, Managing Principal, Evans Family Office. “We are building on everything that has made this company successful while pushing ourselves to keep getting better. That means continuing to raise the bar on safety and customer experience, investing in our people and operations, strengthening the locations we already serve, developing new capabilities and expanding general aviation infrastructure where our customers need it. We want to be where business aviation is going next and help shape the standard operators should expect when they get there. At its core, Affinity is about the genuine, personal care we have always had for our customers and their missions. The same people and relationships our customers know are behind the brand, but Affinity reflects our ambition to build on that foundation and continue leading our segment of the industry for decades to come.”
Building for What Comes Next
Affinity Aviation’s global network spans more than 75 locations across more than 20 countries.
The scale of the company’s investment is increasingly visible across that network. In Saudi Arabia, Affinity recently began operations at the new General Aviation Terminal/FBO in Dammam, the first of three flagship operations in the Kingdom. Jeddah will follow with an approximately 108,000-square-foot private aviation hangar and full-service ground handling operation, while Riyadh will add a dedicated private aviation lounge and ground handling operation. A centralized Saudi Arabia Operational Control Center will provide coordinated support across the Kingdom.
In Spain, construction is underway on an approximately 53,800-square-foot hangar at Madrid-Barajas Airport, which will become Spain’s first dedicated general aviation hangar facility and accommodate aircraft up to BBJ size.
In Mexico, the company worked with local partners to develop and open a major new FBO and hangar complex in Guadalajara ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup – a 362,000-square-foot facility, including a 51,700-square-foot general aviation hangar – significantly expanding business aviation infrastructure and aircraft basing capabilities at Guadalajara International Airport.
Additional investment is taking place throughout the network, including facility upgrades in Milan and Paris; renewed investment in people and lounge facilities at the company’s longstanding Venezuela operation as international demand returns; and recent expansion in the Dominican Republic, including its newest FBO in Samaná.
The strategy extends beyond physical facilities. Affinity is continuing to strengthen the people, technology, safety systems, operational capabilities and service standards behind its network, improving how teams connect and work together while preserving the local knowledge and personal relationships customers value.
The objective is straightforward: combine disciplined, safety-focused operations with a more seamless, personalized and high-touch experience wherever customers meet Affinity.
A Brand Built Around Connection
The Affinity Aviation brand was developed through a process led by Sarah Evans, Principal, Evans Family Office, with input from leaders and employees across the organization.
The work began by looking closely at the company’s customers, its people and the direction of the business aviation market, then using those insights to define the positioning, name and identity for the next chapter of the business.
“We started by listening – to our customers, our people and the market – and thinking carefully about what we wanted this company to stand for in the future,” said Sarah Evans. “Affinity came from the idea that exceptional ground support is personal. It starts with understanding the mission, knowing what matters to the customer and bringing the right people together to make everything work. We wanted to create a brand that feels true to the company people already know, but also sets a clear expectation for where we are going – more connected, more personal and always looking for ways to make the experience better.”
The name Affinity reflects that sense of connection and understanding: close customer relationships, people personally invested in each mission and accountability for making sure everything comes together as it should on the ground.
That thinking is also reflected in the new brand mark. The icon combines an aircraft representing the customer’s journey with a supporting hand representing the people, personal care and expertise behind every mission on the ground.
A Phased Global Transition
Affinity Aviation becomes the company’s new global brand beginning at NBAA-BACE, with the transition from Universal Aviation rolling out in phases across the worldwide network throughout 2027.
Customers will begin seeing Affinity across the company’s digital channels starting with the launch, followed over time by operational communications, facility signage, uniforms and other customer-facing and operational touchpoints.
During the transition, Universal Aviation and Affinity Aviation may appear together in certain locations and industry systems. Customers and partners will be contacted directly in advance of changes affecting operational information, billing or other processes requiring action on their part.
The phased approach is designed to maintain continuity while progressively bringing the Affinity brand to life throughout the global operation
Affinity Aviation will introduce the new brand to the business aviation industry at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas, Booth 3945.
